We’re honoured to have Purley resident & Curator of Horology from the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, Mr Rory McEvoy, give his fascinating talk here in Purley.

Discover the secrets from new research into two Titanic relics using the latest x-ray technology

The talk details some of the fascinating discoveries made by Rory and other experts at the national Maritime Museum, Greenwich in 2013 regarding the remarkable musical toy pig that belonged to one of the survivors from the Titanic on that fateful day in 1912.

The talk will be approximately 1 hour, with refreshments and a chance for Q&A at the end.
